Hello.

I'm Catherine O'Sullivan, the craftswoman behind Feltlore. I am a fiber artist based in Takoma Park, Maryland. I spend my days making handcrafted objects d'art primarily from wool, but also silk, cotton and paper, using traditional needle and wet felting techniques.

Living and working in an urban forest, I draw great inspiration from the natural world around me to create pieces that are sometimes functional, sometimes ornamental, but always unique.

I am a member of the International Feltmakers Association, Potomac Fiber Arts Guild and The Northeast Feltmakers Guild.
